WE’LL HELP YOU IF YOU HELP OTHERS
Our mandate is to help lower the cost of living for those who work in the non-profit sector. Eligibility is limited to volunteers, employees and significant donors, all of whom have put service before their own financial interest
Eligibility
NON-PROFIT VS. FOR PROFIT COMPENSATION
Studies show that charitable sector compensation for paid jobs (accountants, directors, and support employees) is about 10% less on average than in the for-profit sector.
Our goal is to reduce the cost of living by an equal amount for the people who choose to help others at their own financial sacrifice. Our rate subsidies average a 5-25% reduction in housing payments depending on the situation.
We believe this will help NPOs and charities attract and retain the best people, effectively eliminating the income gap, and in some cases reversing it.
Similarly, if you give a significant amount of your income (see left) to supporting these organizations we’ll help you get back what the tax incentive doesn't fully cover. Ideally, this will provide an even greater benefit to the donors that drive positive change in Canada.
SIGNIFICANT DONORS
You donated at least $5000 or 10% of your annual income to a registered NPO or charity last year (whichever is lower)
You can show a receipt
